Its understandable when puke in a situation of seeing family members suffer; we appear to challenge or question our profess views. This might return because of loved ones being in pain and suffering. Although I am against assisted self-annihilation/euthanasia, I believe I would do the same thing as Susan Wolf did with her father; touch off questioning myself and actually think about assisted suicide being an option. Natural law tells us that eat up and even suicide in most cultures is immoral. From a Christian perspective, it is wrong to take human life, whatever the reasons might be.
If individual close to me was having a lot of medical problems, suffering, and telling me they couldnt go on; that would make me breakd make and question my own views on assisted suicide. I believe Susan Wolf didnt actually assist her father to commit suicide, thats why I would respond the way she did. Her father decided he insufficiencyed to stop the tube nourishment and IV hydration, and accordingly the medical team was notified of that consensus.



This decision was him refusing treatment; refusing to have the feeding tubes. Susans father refusing treatment is not assisted suicide; the doctors were allowing him to die, not causing his death. No one actually provided or administered any drugs to end his life quicker. I would inform the dying person of the choices they had available to them. Comfort, love, staying by their side, and doing everything I can to visualize them someone is fighting for them is what I would do. I believe in God, and believe this is the best choice because life is sacred and exclusively God has the right to take life in his own time.
