Blind Lead Made in Scent of a Woman

As we watch the movies and see the characters play off each other from separate and distinct point of view, we can see that they both are going to end up teaching each other life lessons by the end of the story. Slade has Sims take him around The Big Apple for some planned activities. Slade visits his relatives, where Sims and the audience find out how Slade became blind. It is a very good example of depression and how it causes people to have either/or thoughts and feelings about the world around them.

Slade was satisfied to be bitter and to make his relatives and people around him miserable also. He could have been helped with therapy or medication, but he had a very set and established worldview (grounded in de
