Also to protect the nation from foreign enemy espionage and recognition and possible terrorist acts and threats. Support federal, state, local and international partners, 10. Upgrade technology to successfully perform the FBIs mission (FBI).

Which was founded in 1908 when the Attorney General appointed an anonymous force of Special Agents
to be the investigative force of the department of Justice (DOJ). Before this the DOJ had to use agents in the United States Secret Service. In 1909, they were renamed the Bureau of Investigation. Then in 1935 the FBI get its official name.
The early years of the FBI consisted of investigations of purely bank chit fraud, bankruptcy frauds, antitrust crime, and neutrality violation. Then when World war One came around they gained new responsibilities. Which included investigating espionage, Sabotage, insurrection and draft violation.
