In addition, my fourth reason, is that as an promote and expert on Gifted learning, by advocating for the Gifted, we can help assist other educators on techniques in differentiation and pedagogics which can benefit all students. The ideas and techniques we use such as compacting, varying delivery of content, offering a variety of ways to demonstrate learning, are all valid and can make a positive wallop on any learning population. Finally, if you are not an advocate for students, you shouldnt be teaching. This goes beyond just Gifted programs, any and all people who strive to be educators have a duty to advocate for their students regardless of the subject, level, or program they are involved with.
