While giving his speech at the dinner table, Gabriel compliments Kate, Julia, and Mary Jane which signifies to me that although he is somewhat arrogant, he digest indeed give credit where credit is due. I can relate Gabriel to a friend that I know who never got the chance to experience the everyday childhood things I had the pleasance to encounter.
