During the middle of the first full b line of battle of the 2010-2011 school year Memphis City Schools System (MCS) introduced a bare-ass insurance that made Not Meeting Standards (NMS) as the sassy F arcdegree. This new policy prevented students who begind a grade of 69 or below in a nine-week term from failing. Instead apprizeers are to revise the curriculum so that the pincer/children that were behind would be able to catch up. This new policy non only affects the students, barely also the teachers, administrators, as healthy as the parents.
The new policy states An NMS indicates that a student is not grasping key concepts, processes and skills and that the student is making less than expect progress.At first glance this new policy may seem to energise the indication that MCS is now allowing students to just emit along in school without learning anything, but this is not the case. NMS is not meant to replace the F but to allow a chance for the student to catch up with the rest of their class. If the student is unable to catch up with his/her school work by the end of the next term, the student will indeed receive a failing grade.




Many blame the school visiting cards present leadership for many of the mishaps that have travel on the school system. They seem to forget that much of a childs raising comes from the home. There are parents that experience that they are the main teachers in their child/childrens lives, but there are also parents who think that all they have to do is send their child to school and that is all the education that the child should receive. If parents are not taking the time to cooperate their child with his/her homework ,making sure that the child is getting liberal rest at night, or even eating a well balanced meal, how can they expect for someone else to teach them.
