Femininity

            For my interview I chose three people from different socioeconomic backgrounds. The first was Dr. Marie Schneider who is a gynecologist and became one when it was uncommon for wo custody to go into the medical profession and she constantly had to endure discrimination. The second somebody I interviewed was a woman named Linda Lee who is currently employed in the fashion industry. I chose her because I thought it would be interesting to see how femininity and discrimination in the study might differ in a theme that is predominately abide by women. The last person I interviewed is my father since I have never met a man who is so forward-moving in his beliefs that he encourages women to be strong, wants them to succeed and he is non threatened by a difficult working women regular(a) if they hold a higher position than he does. I started with a little background, discussed femininity and then went into the work force.
            When I asked the question how you were taught to act as a woman or man they all answered me with similar answers, the fact that they should work hard and that they should strive to be the best and independent. Even though Dominicks parents taught him to act like a King he did not and worked hard with sharing equal duties with his wife throughout his life.

Marie Schneider was a woman who had to fight hard in a preponderantly male profession to prove she was just as trusty as men. At first, she became a nurse, this was not unusual, most women chose the breast feeding profession, but while she was in that field she realized she was in a job that she liked but she knew she could be much more.
