ABSTRACT
Intersymbol interference (ISI) is a body-build of distortion of a received signal in which unrivalled symbol interferes with adjacent symbols. This paper presents an overview of intersymbol interference in radio receiver communication systems and identifies ISI as the major obstacle to reliable high-velocity digital data transmission over band-limited and wireless channels. in like manner presented in this paper are the pulse shaping and demolishing techniques for ISI reduction and cancellation. This paper shows that the mitigation of ISI typically involves preventing its occurrence and reverse the effects the dispersive channel.
