Essay Bangladesh

The essays that students are assigned to complete come can be just about anything and can be either short or lengthy. Some of the essays topics are interesting to write about while others can be quite cumbersome to write about.

One essay that is for sure interesting to write about is the essay Bangladesh. Below is an example of what such an essay could look like Boundary is country that is surrounded by the Bay of Bengal, Myanmar and India.

It is a republic that lies in the south of the Asian continent and was formerly known as East Pakistan. When it was still known as East Pakistan, it was among the five provinces that Pakistan was divided into when it was created by the British colonialists in 1947.

East Pakistan was formed from the East Bengal, a former Indian province. Even though the East was the most populous, the government then was based in West Pakistan. From the moment the East Pakistan was formed, the most problematic issue was communication, in particular, Language.

East Pakistan became independent of Pakistan and was renamed to Bangladesh on the 16th day of December, 1971 and this was after a civil war in which India vigorously supported East Pakistan. Upon attaining independence, it was Sheikh Manipur Rahman who assumed the position of the nation’s first prime minister.

In the month of January 1957, the country’s parliamentary system of government was replaced by a presidential form of government and Sheikh Manipur Rahman assumed the position of the nation’s president. One month later, Bangladesh became a one party state. In august the same year the president and his family were assassinated.
